Quality Manufacturing Services provides conformal coating services that help protect sensitive electronic assemblies from environmental exposure, including moisture, dust, salt, chemicals, temperature changes, and mechanical abrasion. Conformal coatings can also help reduce the formation of tin whiskers and prevent current bleed between closely positioned components, supporting greater long-term reliability in demanding operating environments.
QMS offers in-house acrylic and urethane conformal coating services, with additional materials—including silicone and Parylene—available upon request. Our team works with customers to identify coating materials that align with each assembly’s environmental conditions, performance requirements, design characteristics, and required level of protection.
Our conformal coating process includes programmed spray application, UV curing, and IR/convection oven curing stations to support consistent coverage and dependable results. QMS engineers can accommodate both straightforward and complex coating requirements across a wide range of thickness specifications through a repeatable, verifiable process designed to support quality, reliability, and production consistency.
